[Criteria for inclusion: texts published since 1950 in western European languages in scholarly journals whose focus is entirely or primarily upon the relation between the Gnostics and the one hand and Plotinus and / or his immediate Neoplatonic successors on the other, or longer texts with significant discussions of this theme; also texts whose principal focus is upon treatise II.9[33] Against the Gnostics or on specific Gnostic texts and their relation to Neoplatonism. NB: I have not included a significant quantity of supporting literature closely related to these topics that is necessary for a full understanding but does not precisely meet the above criteria.]
